Fluocinonide Ointment Usp 0.05% (Fluocinonide 05)
This is a description for Fluocinonide Ointment USP, 0.05%, a generic version of Synalar. Each gram of the ointment contains 0.5mg of fluocinonide in a base. It is manufactured by Taro Pharmaceuticals Inc. and is for external use only, not for ophthalmic use. The ointment should be stored at a temperature between 20 - 25°C (68 - 77°F) and should be kept out of reach of children. The directions for use are provided in English and Spanish. It should be applied externally twice a day as directed by a doctor. The ointment is available in different quantities and comes with lot and batch numbers.
