This is a Drug Fact sheet containing information on the uses, warnings, directions and inactive ingredients of a skin protectant lotion. The active ingredient in the lotion is dimethicone 1.0% and its purpose is to protect the skin. The lotion helps prevent and temporarily protects and relieves chapped or cracked skin and protects against the drying effects of wind and cold weather. The user is warned against getting the lotion in their eyes and to stop use if the condition worsens, symptoms last for more than seven days, or they occur again within a few days. If swallowed, one should seek medical help, and keep out of reach of children. The lotion can be applied as needed and its inactive ingredients include Polybutene, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum, amongst others.*
