Laxative (404 Laxative 1)
Dulcolax is a gentle and effective overnight relief laxative that contains the active ingredient Bisacodyl USP 5mg, a stimulant laxative. It is used for the relief of occasional constipation and irregularity. Each tablet should be taken with water and usually causes bowel movements within 6 to 12 hours. However, do not chew or crush the tablet, and do not take it within 1 hour of taking antacid or milk to avoid stomach discomfort, faintness, or cramps. If you experience rectal bleeding or do not have a bowel movement after using a laxative, contact your doctor as it could be a sign of a serious condition. Lastly, keep out of reach of children and consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.*
