This is a medication that comes in a bottle of 50 immediate release caplets. It contains guaifenesin 400mg, an expectorant. It helps to loosen and relieve chest congestion and make coughs more productive. The medication is dye-free and non-drowsy. It is not recommended to use it if the seal under the cap is missing or broken. The medication helps to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and should be taken every four hours as needed. Adults should not exceed six caplets in 24 hours; children under 12 should take one caplet every four hours, and children under six should consult a doctor. The medication also comes with a warning that pregnant or breastfeeding women should speak with a healthcare professional before use, and it should be kept away from children. The medication should be stored at room temperature. The bottle was last revised on February 2020 by Marc Glassman, Inc.*
