Mineral 50 is a sunscreen lotion with broad-spectrum SPF50, pediatrician tested, fragrance-free, and water-resistant for up to 80 minutes. Its plant-based ingredients are non-nano, vegan, and hypoallergenic. The active ingredient is Zinc oxide at a concentration of 20%. It helps prevent sunburn and decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun when used as directed. The product is for external use only, should not be used on damaged or broken skin, and should be kept away from the eyes. People who are under 6 months old should seek sun protection measures when using the product. It is recommended to apply liberally five minutes before sun exposure, reapply, and towel dry every two hours or immediately after swimming or sweating. Limiting time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF value of 15 or higher, and wearing protective clothing and sunglasses are additional sun protection measures recommended.
