It is a cryogenic substance that can cause burns or injuries, and combustibles in contact with it can explode on ignition or impact. Therefore, it should not be handled until all the safety precautions have been read and understood. The oxygen must be kept and stored away from clothing and other combustible materials, and valves and fittings must be free from grease and oil. It can only be used and stored outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Cold insulating gloves, face shields, and eye protection are necessary during its use. If a fire occurs, a backflow preventive device should be used, and the piping should be cleaned for oxygen service. If the cylinder is empty, make sure to close the valve. The product label should not be removed, and the SDS should be read before use. In case of skin contact, thaw frosted parts with lukewarm water and seek immediate medical advice. This oxygen is for emergency use only when administered by trained personnel for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation. For all other medical applications, it requires a prescription.
