This is a medication product that consists of Diphenhydramine HCI 25mg per softgel. It is an antihistamine used for the temporary relief of symptoms due to hay fever, common cold, and upper respiratory allergies such as itching of the nose, watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, itching of the throat or nose. The medication has some warnings such as it may cause marked drowsiness, excitability, and it must not be used in children under six years of age. It is important to avoid using it with alcoholic drinks, sedatives, and tranquilizers. Children 6 to under 12 years may consume 1 softgel whereas adults and children 12 years and older may take 1 to 2 softgels every 4 to 6 hours, not exceeding 6 doses in 24 hours.
