Gastrobiz is a medication used as an antidiarrheal and antacid as well as to relieve travelers' diarrhea, upset stomach, heartburn, indigestion, nausea, gas, belching, and fullness. It contains bismuth subsalicylate with 262mg of the active ingredient in each tablet. The medicine comes in chewable peppermint flavor tablets that can be dissolved or chewed. The drug contains warnings and directions for use, including precautions for children and teenagers with flu-like symptoms, individuals allergic to salicylates, and those with a history of ulcers, bleeding problems, or black stool.*
