The usual dosage is to apply a thin film of the medication on affected scalp areas once daily and leave it in place for 15 minutes before rinsing it off. The medication contains clobetasol propionate USP, 0.05% as an active ingredient and has both active and inactive ingredients. The medication is not to be in contact with the face, groin, underarms, lips, and eyes. The medication must not be used for more than four weeks. Clobetasol Propionate Shampoo is available in a 118 mL (4.0 fl. oz.) bottle for external use only. The usual dosage is to apply a thin film to affected areas of the scalp once daily. It should be applied to a dry scalp and left in place for 15 minutes before lathering and rinsing. It should not be applied to the face and should not be used for more than 4 weeks. The product should be stored at 20°to 25°C (68" to 77°F) and kept tightly closed. The inactive ingredients include alcohol, citric acid, coco-betaine, polyquaternium-10, purified water, sodium citrate, and sodium laureth sulfate.
