Silagen® Silicone Gel + SPF 30 is a drug product that contains 20% zinc oxide, for use as a sunscreen. It is designed to help improve the appearance of scars while also preventing sunburn and hyperpigmentation caused by UV exposure. This drug is for external use only and should be kept out of reach of children. It cannot be applied to damaged or broken skin and must be kept out of the eyes. The user must stop using if a rash occurs, and reapplication is recommended after swimming or sweating. The drug should only be used on children under 6 months of age with the consent of a doctor. Inactive ingredients include Polymerized Siloxanes (Siicone Gel), G12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, and Polyhydroxystearic Acid. The drug should be stored between 16°C (59°F) and 27°C (80°F) and protected from direct sun and excessive heat.*
