WesTussin DM is an antihistamine, cough suppressant, and nasal decongestant medication. It is alcoho-free, dye-free, sugar-free, and gluten-free. Each 5 mL of WesTussin DM contains Dexchiorpheniramine Malzte, Dextromethorphan, and Phenyleprine HOL. The medication is flavored with Cotton Candy. It is useful for temporarily relieving cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation occurring with a cold or inhaled irritants and temporarily relieving nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever, or respiratory allergies. However, it should not be used if you are taking a prescription moncarine ridase inibitor or if you have certain diseases that may be affected. It is important not to exceed the recommended dosage and to consult a doctor in case of persistent symptoms. The medication is meant for use by adults, and children under 6 years of age should consult a doctor.*
