This text contains instructions for the use and storage of Mutamycin (Mitomycin), an injection medication that must be administered intravenously to avoid tissue damage. The vial contains 20mg of mitomycin and 40mg of mannitol, and must be dissolved in 40mL of sterile water for injection. The reconstituted solution is effective for up to 14 days when stored under refrigeration, or 7 days if unrefrigerated. The package instructs users to store the dry powder below 40°C, protected from light, and to avoid excessive heat. This is a pharmaceutical product called MUTAMYCIN® which contains mitomycin and mannitol. It is used for injection to avoid tissue damage, and each vial contains 40mg of mitomycin and 80mg of mannitol. The vial needs to be kept blank and varnish-free for overcoding lot, EXP, and 2D Matrix. The proper dosage and storage instructions are provided on the package insert.*

MUTAMYCIN® (Mitomycin) For Injection USP is a drug that should be administered through IV to avoid tissue damage. This vial contains mitomycin 5 mg and mannitol 10 mg. Each mL of the reconstituted solution will contain 0.5 mg mitomycin and have a pH between 6.0 and 8.0. See package insert or full prescribing information for usual dosage. The dry powder should be stored at 25°C, excursion permitted between 15°C and 30°C, protected from light. The reconstituted solution should be refrigerated 2° to 8°C (36° to 46°F) and should be discarded after 14 days. If unrefrigerated, discard after 7 days.
