This is a description of an emergency contraceptive tablet, compared to Plan B One-Step (NDC 69536-103-88). It is designed to reduce the chance of pregnancy after unprotected sex. The tablet contains Levonorgestrel of 1.5mg and is effective when taken as soon as possible within 72 hours (3 days) after sex. It is not meant for regular birth control and will not harm an existing pregnancy. The effectiveness of the tablet is higher when taken sooner after unprotected sex. Directions for use, precautions and storage instructions are given on the package.*
