Scott’s SELECT TOPICAL ANESTHETIC GEL is a pain relief medication for sore mouth symptoms, available at Scott's Dental Supply. The gel contains Vitamin E and Xylitol, making it gluten-free. The topical medication is suitable for people of 12 years and above. Children under 12 years should be supervised while using the product, and those under 2 years should consult a dentist or doctor. It should not be used for more than 7 days unless directed by a dentist or doctor. The gel should be applied to the affected area for up to 4 times a day. However, if symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or if the patient experiences pain, swelling, rash, or fever, they should see their dentist or doctor promptly. Allergies to local anesthetics like procaine, benzocaine, or butacaine is a contraindication. Parents should keep the medication out of reach of children.*
