This is the description for Cephalexin Capsules, USP which contains 250 mg of cephalexin in a monohydrate form. The recommended dose for adults is 1 capsule every 6 hours, and may be increased to treat severe infections up to 40 capsules a day. It is advised to keep tightly-closed at room temperature and store in light-resistant containers.
