The product is not suitable for those experiencing stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or sudden changes in bowel habits lasting longer than 14 days, or those on a magnesium-restricted diet. Pregnant or lactating women should consult healthcare professionals before using this product. Adults and children over 12 years of age may take 30 to 60 millimeters of this product per dose, preferably at bedtime, in divided doses, or as directed by a physician. Children aged 6 to 11 years old may take 5 to 30 milliliters of the product, while those under the age of 6 must consult a doctor. The product is flavored with natural and artificial flavors and contains inactive ingredients of carboxymethylcellulose sodium, citric acid, D&C Red No. 28, glycerine, microcrystalline cellulose, purified water, and sodium citrate.*
