This is a CVS Extra Strength Heartburn Relief liquid antacid that gives fast-acting relief to heartburn and helps keep acid down for hours. It has a cool mint flavor that is naturally and artificially flavored. The active ingredients in each 5mL teaspoonful are aluminum hydroxide and magnesium carbonate which relieve acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and upset stomach associated with these symptoms. The product includes warnings as it may interact with certain prescription drugs and can have a laxative effect. It also includes directions to take 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls four times a day or as directed by a doctor after meals and at bedtime.
