Tolnaftate 1% is an antifungal cream medication used to cure athlete’s foot and relieve itching, burning, and chafing. It is not recommended for use on children under 2 years of age unless directed by a doctor. The product comes in a spray can and is advised not to be used near flames, heat, or smoking. It is to be used externally and to be kept out of reach of children. If swallowed or accidentally inhaled, one should seek medical help. If the nozzle gets clogged, it is advised to clean it with a pin. This medication is not effective on the scalp or nails.*
