This is a drug information sheet for a CVSHealth delayed-release capsule containing lansoprazole USP, 15 mg, which is used to treat heartburn. The product should be stored at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), and the consumer should keep the carton and package insert. The product is not intended to provide immediate heartburn relief, and it may take 1 to 4 days for full effect. Consumers with allergies to lansoprazole should not use this product. The consumer should consult with a doctor before using the product if they have liver disease, have had heartburn symptoms for over 3 months, or are taking other medications such as blood-thinning medicine, heart medicine, or anti-fungal/anti-yeast medicine. The product should not be used for more than 14 days, and repeated courses of treatment could be taken every 4 months. Children under 18 years of age should consult with a doctor before using this product. In case of overdose, the consumer should contact Poison Control Center (1-800-222-1222) right away.*
