This is a description of CVS Health Hand Sanitizer Gel, containing 70% ethyl alcohol as an active ingredient, which is an antiseptic. It can be used to reduce bacteria that can potentially cause disease when soap and water are not available. This product is for external use only and must be kept away from heat or flame because it is flammable. It should not be used on children less than 2 months of age and open skin wounds. When using this product, keep out of eyes, ears, and mouth. It may discolor certain fabrics or surfaces. If irritation or rash occurs, stop usage immediately and seek medical help. The product should be stored between 15-30°C (59-86°F) to avoid freezing and excessive heat above 40°C (104°F). The inactive ingredients include acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, aminomethyl propanol, glycerin, isopropyl myristate, propylene glycol, purified water, SD alcohol 40-B, and tocopheryl acetate.
