This is a drug facts label for a CVS Health Chest Congestion Relief PE medication. The active ingredients include Guaifenesin (400 mg) as an expectorant and Phenylephrine HCI (10 mg) as a nasal decongestant. This medication is used to temporarily relieve symptoms associated with a cough, cold, hay fever, or other upper respiratory allergies. It helps in shrinking swollen membranes and clearing nasal passageways. The medication is not recommended if the patient is taking prescription drugs such as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI) or if symptoms are accompanied by fever, rash, persistent headache, and other serious conditions.
