ANDEXXA is a medication containing recombinant coagulation factor Xa, inactivated-zhzo, intended for intravenous use only. It is available in the form of lyophilized powder to be dissolved in sterile water for injection. Each vial contains 200mg coagulation factor Xa (recombinant), inactivated-zhzo, 1g of maltose, 7.3mg of sodium citrate, 948mg of L-arginine hydrochloride, 200mg of sucrose, 500mg of mannitol and 2mg of polysorbate 80. The medication is sold in a package with four 200 mg single-dose vials and should be stored refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). For dosage and administration, a package insert is included. The manufacturer of ANDEXXA is Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and it is a product of Spain.*
