Dr. Numb Lidocaine Cream 4% is a topical anesthetic that temporarily relieves pain and itching due to insect bites, minor burns, minor scrapes, minor skin irritations, minor cuts, and sunburns. It contains lidocaine 4% and other ingredients such as benzyl alcohol, carbopol, lecithin, propylene glycol, tocopheryl acetate and water. It is for external use only and should be applied up to 3 to 4 times a day to the affected area. However, do not use in large quantities, particularly over raw surfaces or blistered areas. Seek medical attention if there is no improvement or worsening of the condition within 7 days or if any redness, swelling, and pain occurs.
