This is a medication containing Levocetirizine dihydrochloride USP, 5 mg, an antihistamine used for temporarily relieving symptoms due to hay fever or other allergies. It treats symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, itching of the nose or throat. It is not to be used if the patient has kidney disease or has ever had an allergic reaction to this antihistamine or any of its ingredients or to an antihistamine-containing cetirizine. It causes drowsiness, and one should avoid alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers. The medication should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women without consulting medical professionals. The medication is distributed by Cardinal health and made in India. The medication should not be accessible to children and should be stored between 20° and 25C (68 and 77°F). Inactive ingredients include Collodial silicon dioxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, and titanium dioxide.
