This is a drug fact sheet for Leader Chewable Aspirin (81 mg) in Cherry flavor. The product provides temporary relief of minor aches and pains. Usage by children and teenagers recovering from chickenpox, or who have or had symptoms of Reye's syndrome, is not recommended. Prolonged and excessive usage, especially by people over 60 years or those with high blood pressure, stomach ulcers or bleeding problems, may result in severe stomach bleeding. Allergic reactions may occur and these should be immediately reported to a doctor. The product should be kept in a cool and dry place and out of reach of children. It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, except on a doctor's recommendation. Dosage should not exceed 48 tablets per day.*
