The product must be taken as soon as possible within 72 hours after unprotected sex. It won't harm an existing pregnancy, and one tablet is required. The active ingredient is 1.5 mg Levonorgestrel, which works mainly by preventing ovulation. The product does not protect against HIV/AIDS or other STDs. It may cause menstrual changes, tiredness, dizziness, nausea, headache, breast pain, lower stomach (abdominal) pain, or vomiting.
