Chi-Myst is an anti-inflammatory medication that is used for treating osteoarthritis, joint or musculoskeletal pain, and tendonitis. It contains a chitin derivative that is produced from shrimp shells but patients with allergies to shrimp or other shellfish should seek advice from a physician before using it. Chi-Myst is for external use only and must not be used near or around the eye area. For applying the medication, it is recommended to spray it directly on the affected area or spray it into a palm and apply it by gently distributing it to the affected area. The dosage of Chi-Myst is determined by the physician and varies according to the intensity of pain, the size, nature, and location of the affected area. Chi-Myst should not be rubbed into the skin as the transdermal agent is absorbed naturally or sprayed directly onto the affected area. In case of unusual adverse reactions, patients should report to the prescriber immediately. Chi-Myst should be stored in a cool environment and not exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time.*
