This is a 10% / 10% Sodium Phenylacetate and Sodium Benzoate Injection meant for intravenous use only. The product comes in a single-dose vial of 50 mL which must be diluted before IV administration. The drug needs to be stored at room temperature, and the administration must be through a central line. The package includes a dosage insert, and every mL of this injection contains 400mg of sodium phenylacetate, 100mg of sodium benzoate, and sterile water for injection. Sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid may have been used for pH design.*
