This product is designed for temporary use in cleansing minor wounds and minor inflammations resulting from dental procedures, dentures, orthodontic appliances, canker sores, irritations of the mouth and gums. It can aid in the removal of phlegm, mucus, and other secretions linked to sore mouth. Directions indicate it should not be used for more than 7 days unless directed by a dentist or doctor. It is not to be swallowed and exceeding the recommended dosage is cautioned against. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or if there is worsening redness, swelling, or the development of a rash, one should stop using the product and consult a physician. The formula includes various ingredients like hydrogenated castor oil, vitamin E, and mint extract among others. The product contains alcohol and fluoride and is made to relieve discomfort associated with mouth sores, gum irritation, oral cuts, cheek bites, and irritations from braces and dentures.
