Nystatin ointment is a topical medication for external use only. It contains 100,000 units of USP Nystatin per gram, and is made of a mixture of light mineral oil and white petrolatum. The medication is indicated to be applied to affected areas twice a day. The drug should be kept away from children and not used for ophthalmic purposes. This medication is produced by Cadila Healthcare Ltd in India. To verify the validity of the medication, check the number and expiry date on the crimp of the tube. Store at room temperature between 20°C and 25°C (68°F to 77°F). To access the contents of the tube, puncture the seal using the cap.*
