RediCare is a first aid ointment used to prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. It contains acitracin, zinc, neomycin sulfate, and polymyxin B sulfate, which are antibiotics. This ointment should only be used externally and for no longer than a week unless directed by a doctor. If the user is allergic to any specific ingredients, they should stop using the ointment and seek medical attention if a rash or allergic reaction develops. The affected area should be cleaned and a small amount should be applied 2-3 times daily and may be covered with a sterile bandage. The only listed inactive ingredient is petrolatum.*
