Benzalkonium Chloride Antiseptic Towelette is a non-sterile solution used to prevent infection in minor scrapes. It contains 0.13% benzalkonium chloride as an active antiseptic ingredient. It is intended for external use only and caution must be taken as it is highly flammable. The applicator is sterile if the package is unopened. The product should not be used in large quantities or on larger areas of the body, near eyes, on raw or blistered areas. If conditions worsen or persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, consult a doctor. The directions state that for both adults and children 2 years and older, the solution should be applied to the cleaned affected area not more than 3 times daily.
