Principal Display Panel (100 mg Carton)
This is a description for a cytotoxic agent in lyophilized form, intended for intravenous use. Each vial contains 100 mg of paclitaxel and approximately 900 mg of human albumin. It needs to be reconstituted with 20 mL of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection resulting in a suspension containing 5 mg/mL of paclitaxel. It is an albumin-bound form of paclitaxel. The product is sterile, nonpyrogenic, and preservative-free. The container closure system does not contain natural rubber latex. Storage instructions include keeping the vial at controlled room temperature and protecting the reconstituted suspension from bright light. The suspension should be used within 24 hours of reconstitution. Dosage, infusion rate, and directions on the package insert need to be carefully followed.
