Mycophenolate Mofetil for Injection is a non-pyrogenic and preservative-free sterile medication available in single-dose vials, each containing 500 mg (542 mg of mycophenolate mofet hydrochloride equivalent) of the drug, along with 25 mg of polysorbate 80 and 5 mg of anhydrous citric acid. Sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid is used to maintain pH levels. Reconstitution of the vials with 14 mL of 5% dextrose injection is mandatory before its infusion at a final concentration of 6 mg/mL. The medication must be discarded after four hours of reconstitution and dilution.
