Sodium Sulfacetamide 9.8% - Sulfur 4.8% Cleanser is a prescription medication used for the topical control of acne vulgaris, acne rosacea, and seborrheic dermatitis. The cleanser contains active ingredients Sodium Sulfacetamide and Sulfur, which work to cleanse and heal the affected areas. It is advised to shake well before using the product, and it is applied to the skin 1-2 times a day as directed by a physician. The cleanser comes in a 10oz bottle and contains Aloe Vera. While using the product, it is essential to avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. The cleanser is not to use by patients with kidney disease, and it has contraindication for patients with known hypersensitivity to sulfonamides, sulfur, or any other components of this preparation.
