This is a drug facts label for Akr Pharma's Hemorrhoidal ointment which contains 1% Dibucaine. The product is used for the temporary relief of pain, itching, discomfort, and burning caused by hemorrhoids or other anorectal disorders. The ointment should be applied externally to the affected area up to four times daily by adults and children aged 12 years or above. Not intended for use in children under 2 years of age. If symptoms persist or worsen, or if redness, swelling, or bleeding occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. The ointment should not be applied near the eyes or rectum by finger or any mechanical device. The product is not available from the manufacturer or distributor of the registered trademark Nupercainal.*
