Hydroseptine Ointment is a moisture barrier that helps heal skin irritations from cuts, scrapes, perspiration, diarrhea, fistula drainage, itching, feeding tube site leakage, and minor burns. It contains zinc oxide and menthol as active ingredients. It also contains calamine, chlorothymol, glycerin, lanolin, phenol, sodium bicarbonate, and thymol as inactive ingredients. The ointment should be applied 2-4 times daily, or after each incontinent episode promoting comfort and long-lasting protection. This product is made in the USA and is not distributed by Calmoseptine, Inc. Users should keep the ointment at room temperature and keep it away from their eyes and children. If ingestion occurs, the user should immediately contact a physician or poison control center.*
