This is a description for Calcium Carbonate Antacid Chewable Tablets that provide fast relief for upset stomach, heartburn, and acid indigestion. Each tablet contains 500mg of Calcium Carbonate USP as the active ingredient. The tablets should be chewed completely when symptoms occur and the recommended dosage should not exceed 15 tablets in 24 hours. Pregnant individuals should not take more than 10 tablets in 24 hours. It is advised not to use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks without doctor's advice. The tablets come in assorted fruit flavors and are naturally and artificially flavored. Each tablet provides elemental calcium of 200mg. Inactive ingredients include various substances like flavors, dextrose, and magnesium stearate.
