The Povidone-iodine Prep Pad by MCL Enterprises is a single-use antiseptic pad for external use only. It is intended for use in preparing the skin prior to surgery or as a first aid antiseptic to prevent infection in minor cuts, bums, and scrapes. The active ingredient is Povidone-iodine 10% and should not be used in the eyes or applied over large areas of the body for more than one week unless directed by a doctor. The product should not be used on individuals who are sensitive or allergic to iodine. If irritation, redness, or other adverse reactions occur, use should be discontinued immediately, and a doctor should be consulted. Direction for use is included on the package.*
