This is a description of a 10mL Multiple-dose injection of Diazepam, which is a medication used for sedation, anxiety and muscle relaxation. Each mL of the injection contains 5mg of diazepam, along with 40% propylene glycol, 10% alcohol, 5% sodium benzoate, and benzoic acid added as buffers, and 1.5% benzyl alcohol added as a preservative. The injection is meant for intravenous or intramuscular use and the usual dosage information can be found in the insert. The solution may appear colorless to light yellow and has an NDC number of 0409-3213-11. It is distributed by Hospira, Inc. and must be stored between 20-25°C (68-77°F).
