This is a description of Rocuronium Bromide Injection, a medication used for intravenous use to induce paralysis. The injection is provided in a 10 mL vial with 100 mg of Rocuronium Bromide (10 mg/mL). It should be stored refrigerated at 2-8°C and should not be frozen. Once removed from refrigeration, it can be used at room temperature for up to 50 days. Opened vials need to be used within 30 days. Each mL of the injection contains 10 mg of Rocuronium Bromide, 2 mg of sodium acetate, 24 ng of sodium chloride, and has a pH of 4. It is sterile and nonpyrogenic. The warning states that it is a paralyzing agent that can cause respiratory arrest, so facilities must have artificial respiration equipment available. The injection is manufactured by XGEN Pharmaceuticals in Germany and distributed by Medical Purchasing Solutions in Scottsdale, AZ.*
