Patient Education
Tedizolid Injection
Tedizolid injection is used to treat skin infections caused by certain types of bacteria in adults and children 12 years of age and older. Tedizolid is in a class of medications called oxazolidinone antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Antibiotics such as tedizolid injection will not work for colds, flu, and other viral infections. Using antibiotics when they are not needed increases your risk of getting an infection later that resists antibiotic treatment.
