Mean reductions in blood pressure were measured in two different studies. In Study 1, at doses of 25mg, 5mg, and 10mg, the mean reductions in systolic blood pressure were 947mmHg, 950mmHg, and 181mmHg, respectively. The mean reductions in diastolic blood pressure were 271mmHg, 245mmHg, and 100mmHg, respectively. Study 2, which lasted for 4 weeks, included a dose of 20mg, resulting in mean reductions of 537mmHg for systolic blood pressure and 455mmHg for diastolic blood pressure. It is worth noting that the number of patients available for peak and trough measurements varied between the studies.*
