Each extended-release tablet contains 5 mEq (540 mg) potassium citrate, USP. The tablet is uncoated, pale yellow, bi-convex, round shaped, and debossed with 'S406' on one side. The usual dosage is 5 mEq per tablet. The tablets should be stored in a tight container at 20°C-25°C (68°F-77°F) with excursions permitted between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). The pharmacist should dispense in unit of use packages and provide full prescribing information by scanning the package insert QR Code. Remember to keep all drugs out of the reach of children.*
