PHARMACY''S hydrogen peroxide topical solution is a first-aid antiseptic that can be used to treat minor cuts and abrasions. It is also useful as a gargling solution. It comes in a 16-ounce bottle and contains 3% hydrogen peroxide. If the safety seal is broken, the solution should not be used. Hydrogen peroxide helps prevent minor skin infections and remove phlegm and mucus from the oral cavity. Although it should not be used near the eyes or on large areas of the body, the product is safe for external use only. If irritation, pain, redness, or fever occurs or if the symptoms do not improve after seven days, consult a doctor. If swallowed, seek immediate medical assistance. Children under two years of age should not use this product, and children under 12 years of age should only use it under the supervision of an adult. When not in use, keep the bottle tightly closed and store it at controlled room temperature.*
