This is a drug labeled "No Drip Nasal Spray" meant for temporary relief of nasal congestion due to cold, allergies, and upper respiratory allergies. It can also be used for temporary relief of sinus congestion and pressure. It works by shrinking swollen nasal membranes to enable easy breathing. However, it contains oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05% which can cause temporary discomforts such as burning, stinging, and sneezing when used for prolonged periods. Also, it should be avoided by individuals with heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, and trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland. The drug container should not be shared as it can spread infections. The drug should not be used for more than three days and should be kept out of reach of children. If symptoms persist after use, a qualified doctor should be consulted.*
