This is a drug facts label for a sun protection product containing 2% Octinoxate as the active ingredient. The product claims to provide minimum protection against sunburn and, when used as directed with other sun protection measures, it can decrease the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun. It also contains inactive ingredients such as Caprylic/capric Triglyceride, Titanium Dioxide, Beeswax, Candelilla Wax, Dipentaerythrityl Tetra- behenate/polyhydroxystearate, Magnesium Carbonate, Silica, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Tocopherol, and Phenoxyethanol. The product is suitable for virtually all skin tones, fragrance-free, and full-coverage for face or body. The product also covers tattoos without transferring or fading. The label instructs users to apply liberally on the skin at least 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply after 40 or 80 minutes of swimming or sweating or drying with a towel, at least every 2 hours. Children under six months are to ask a doctor. The label warns users to keep it out of eyes and to discontinue use and contact a doctor in case of rash or irritation.*
