Directions for use recommend dissolving one drop slowly in the mouth for adults and children 6 years and older, and only under adult supervision for children under 6 years. However, if a sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, or is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, swelling, nausea, or vomiting, consumers are advised to consult a doctor promptly as these may be signs of a serious condition.
