Mentholdrops (Mentholdrops)
This product is a cough suppressant containing Menthol as the active ingredient, designed to temporarily relieve cough as may occur with a cold or inhaled irritants. It is manufactured by La Tia Trini S.A. de C.V. in Mexico and contains FD&C Yellow No. 5 (tartrazine) as a color additive. Directions for use recommend dissolving one drop slowly in the mouth for adults and children 6 years and older, and only under adult supervision for children under 6 years. However, if a sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, or is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, swelling, nausea, or vomiting, consumers are advised to consult a doctor promptly as these may be signs of a serious condition. Inactive ingredients include Anhydrous dexrose, citric acid monohydrate, cordia boissieri whole, eucalyplus globulus leaf, FD&C Blue No. 1, honey, mint, myrth, propolis viax, sambucus nigra flower, soy lechin, and sucrose, and the product contains Soy.
