This is a description of an Everlit Survival Iodine Prep Pad, which contains Povidone-Iodine as the active ingredient at 10% USP. It is an antiseptic pad designed for first aid to help reduce the risk of infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. The pad is meant for topical use as a wound disinfectant. The directions instruct to tear open the packet, use the iodine-saturated pad to cleanse the desired skin area, and discard the pad appropriately after use. It should be stored at room temperature between 15°C - 30°C (59°F - 86°F). Warnings include avoiding contact with eyes, external use only, and to discontinue use and consult a physician if any adverse reactions occur.
