Loteprednol Etabonate Ophthalmic Gel is a medication used only for the eyes. It is a sterile gel that contains 5mg (0.5%) of Loteprednol Etabonate as the active ingredient. The gel also includes various inactive ingredients such as boric acid, glycerin, and sodium chloride. It is preserved with Benzalkonium chloride at a concentration of 0.003%. The usual dosage instructions can be found in the package insert. The gel should be stored upright at a temperature of 15° to 25°C (59° to 77°F). Before instilling drops, the closed bottle should be inverted and shaken to fill the tip. It is important to keep this medication out of reach of children and not to use it if the neckband is damaged.*
